Local Cuisine
If you are looking for delicious, home-cooked meals which are created using locally-produced “Trentino” ingredients chosen for their freshness and quality, you are in the right place. Our chef, who has been working with us for more than 30 years, will spoil you with some of the many recipes which have been handed down from generation to generation.
Breakfast
Wake up to a breakfast buffet “which is a feast for the eyes and the palate”.
In addition to the organic produce on offer, the buffet features : biscuits, biscotti, homemade organic cakes, a selection of breads, yoghurt and milk freshly delivered from local dairies, fruit in season, fruit juice, seeds, sliced gammon, cheese, crackers, home-made jam, (raspberry being our speciality).
Drinks include: good, authentic Italian coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and tea.

Barbecue in Valpiana
A bbq is organised for you in the unspoiled valley of Valpiana. Our chef uses his expertise to prepare and barbeque on the spot “solandra” polenta, smoked ham, local sausages and smoked streaky bacon specially chosen and prepared by our trustworthy butcher, accompanied by cheese from mountain pastures and a good coffee to round off the meal. However, if you would prefer to organise your own picnic, nothing has escaped our imagination; why not order our “picnic basket”
In Valpiana children can enjoy nature at its best, play undisturbed and dip their feet in the fresh water of the small lake. Nearby, there is a mountain hut where you can taste local cheese, speck and a hearty slice of cake. After this short break you can reach the “Sass Pisador” waterfall by taking an easy stroll up a path.

Farmer’s buffet
Our farmer’s buffet offers a feast of colour, a range of aromas, a variety of tastes and in the background, music. This meal is a team effort so nothing has been left to chance. Each of us has played a part in creating the necessary ambience. It starts with the old wooden bench, once used in a mountain hut, at which you can taste local cheeses and cold cuts of meat
To complement the food, there are baskets of wild flowers decorating the room and tableware carefully chosen for its colour and style. But the biggest contribution has to be from our chef who creates dishes reflecting our culture and tradition: barley and vegetable soup, smoked meat , pasta with braised sauerkraut, dumplings with sausage and bacon, dumplings with herbs from the mountains, gnocchi “priest stranglers”, mushroom and cheese quiche, “Solandra” crêpes... In addition to the food there is a selection of wine from the best vineyards of Trentino and Alto Adige.
